Prom Model Finalists
Brooke is a senior at Bacon Academy in Colchester. She plans to pursue her love of Fashion with a major in Fashion Merchandising. Her goal is to experience fashion first hand in one of the fashion capitals of the world! While in High School, Brooke has been a member of the soccer team, the Relay For Life Club, and Special Olympics. In her spare time, Brooke loves to snowmobile and enjoy time with her family.
Gillian is a junior at Glastonbury High School where she is a member of the Interact Club and Medical Club. She also is part of the Big Brother/Big Sister program and serves as an advisory facilitator. Gillian plans to pursue her interest in helping others with a major in nursing. She enjoys playing piano and tennis after school. Gillian loves spending time with her friends and family. With her adventurous personality, Gillian loves to travel so that she can learn about new cultures and eat lots of new foods!
Serena is a junior at E.O. Smith High School, where she is Vice President of her class and part of the Student/Principal Advisory Council. She is one of a few to be a member of the Language National Honors Society. Serena has been a straight honors student and now serves on her school’s Prom Committee. She plans to continue her education in college and hopes to one day travel the world! As a dancer, Serena is on the senior and elite competition teams at Alyson’s School of Dance. In her spare time, Serena likes to listen to music and spend time with her friends and family.
Samantha is a Marlborough resident and a junior at Rham High School where she is a member of the DECA Business Club and the Leo/Lion's Club. Sam plans to continue her education by studying Business and Marketing in college. Her passion is basketball! She plays for the RHAM Varsity team as well as the CT Cobras AAU program every spring and summer. In her spare time, Sam enjoys traveling with her family and spending time with her friends. She loves spending summers kayaking on Lake Terramuggus. But her favorite pastime is playing with her dogs, Lacey and Stella.
Taylor is a Marlborough resident and a junior at RHAM High School where she is a member of the National Honor Society. Taylor is also involved in the Future Problem Solvers Club, where she has traveled to the state competition for six years in a row. This year, she has taken part in Community Problem Solvers where she has worked with her classmates to address real life problems in her community and has run donation drives to raise funds and materials for those affected by domestic violence. Taylor has spent the past four years volunteering her time to teach Faith Formation Class to a group of elementary children. She is considering a major in psychology in college and hopes to study abroad one day. When Taylor is not enjoying time with her family and friends, she is working as a hostess at a local restaurant.
Amy is a senior at East Hampton High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, and is in the Environmental Club. Amy enjoys riding horses and spending time outdoors. She plans to attend Colby College and pursue a career in Environmental Science. In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Haley is a senior at Lyman Memorial High School. She plans to attend Southern Connecticut State University this fall to pursue a career in nursing. Most of Haley's spare time has been dedicated to competitive cheerleading. This year, Haley was awarded the opportunity to compete with one of her teams at the Cheerleading World Championship in Orlando, FL. In time not spent between school, working, and practicing with her teammates, Haley enjoys time with her family and close friends.
